Enjoying San Diego's perfect climate means adopting a beach life-style and exploring the magnificent Pacific Ocean Coast. There's no better way to do it than in a kayak!

In a single tour you will experience southern California's surf culture, observe several species of marine animals, and visit 4 different marine environments: sandy beach, rocky coast, kelp forest, and open ocean - each with it's unique characteristics and wildlife viewing opportunities.

Come see the Sea Lions, Leopard Sharks, Pelicans, Cormorants... and of course, the Caves! While our ultimate destination is the magnificent sea caves that the ocean has carved from ancient cliffs, the true beauty of the area is all around the caves. Please don't have your heart set on entering the caves as this is not always safe to do. Instead, open your eyes to the details around you and you will never be disappointed!

We use stable sit-on-top kayaks that are very user friendly and no previous experience is required.

the best thing we did in our whole vacation. our tour guide was an actual marine biologist from the Scripts university in san diego. this excursion was very entertaining and informational, she was also very patient with us (we are from Texas and do NOT know how to drive a kayak). The kayaking was awesome, something I will never forget.... More

A friend of mine and I found a Groupon for sea cave kayaking and booked a trip on a Wednesday in late September. It was very easy to book. I believe it was the owner that scheduled us. He was extremely friendly and understanding, as we were driving down from LA to participate. I got a confirmation email right away... More

We went as a group. Marley and Gabe were our tour guides. The were great! We had such a nice time I have been to the cove many times but had never kayaked it before. Enjoyed being out on the water. Was not as difficult as I anticipated. Highly recommend. Thank you!

This tour was a great value and the tour guides were very nice. It was a good amount of adventure for a few hours. Seeing leopard sharks in the preserve was very cool. You also get up close and personal with the seals.

Took my daughter here for her 12th birthday. Was expecting just a one-hour light touristy kind of experience --- and it turned in to a fun 2-hour activity. Staff was super mellow and friendly -- responded to my daughter's questions and bids for interaction with friendship and kindness. (best!) The tour was light and fun --- out thru the surf,... More

We just rented a tandem kayak - It was totally worth the 60$ to kayak around & to see the caves and sea lions. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Bring a towel as you'll get wet taking off and coming in (due to waves). Best to wear rash guard or quick drying clothes. Have a water proof case for... More

Our guides, Devin and Marley, were outstanding. We had a marine biologist give us all kinds of interesting information about the ocean. They educated us on the homes along the shoreline, including the one bought by Dr. Seuss. They also kept us safe, making sure we didn't crash into the rocks or too hard into each other. We had an... I saw a fault line and kayaked in the sea caves. I learned about the animals, fish, and sea weed. I saw Dr. Seus' home. This was much more than I anticipated and it was a highlight of the trip. I was told the guides for this tour company were educated and passionate about the ocean. It makes a difference.... More

I had a great adventure today, the whole process was smooth, from booking on line, to checking in, every person I encountered was friendly & helpful. Our guides for the day were Gabe, & TBo, very entertaining young men, also knowledgeable. We were able to kayak into a cave. We saw many sea lions. The oceans in California are as... More

Really enjoyed this. Cyril was our guide. Very knowledgable and laid back. We saw another larger commercial tour and the guide was a young girl who sounded like a teenager. The kayaking is not strenuous. Our tour was small but the group after us was larger and they sent out an extra employee out with the guide to assist. We... More
