Gradual entrance into waves. Great sand for building castles and moats. The view is great. There is free parking right at the beach.

Warm water surprisingly to me coming from NorCAL. must have an Umbrella in hot Aug days to enjoy to the max. Gte some nice cool drinks and enjoy the sites and sounds of the waves crashing calmly.

Beautiful location - very crowded. Hard to locate parking. Streets around the beach are very congested with people parking on the roads.

Park your car and go on a journey to explore amazing scenery with a glistening ocean & great shoreline, a beautiful walkway, a fabulous vibe of people around most of the time. We just enjoyed hanging out and soaking up the sun & scenery.

I'm a local, and have been coming to this beach since my mother was pregnant with me in the mid-1950s. It's a beautiful place, but the parking situation is so infuriating that I just don't go as often as I used to. Even on summer...More

Nice Beach, on the village side usually very crowded. Fewer people but many more surfers in the old Pier side. Strongly suggested dinner in the small restaurants in the village.

We enjoyed playing in the water though there was some sea weed. It was very crowded. Luckily we found parking on the street.
