We toured the campus in August so it was pretty empty / we were able to go to the book store and grab some shirts ...but other than that everything was CLOSED ... would not recommend visiting in the summer as you don't get the actual feel of the campus . Very pretty area of San Diego

Campus is large & pretty. I wouldn't say this is a must see unless you are a potential college student

We visited and walked the campus (it is huge) and were impressed by the architecture of the buildings. Check out the library and the house on the roof.

Exploring the campus with all of the sculpture is a pleasant way to spend a few hours. The snake walkway is the "highlight" followed by the "Cant i the Hat" sculpture.

The UCSD campus is pictureesque, and the library is names after Dr. Seuss. The campus is sprawling, like most UCs. There are different eateries and things to do on the campus. Be prepared to walk lots if you're taking a tour.

Beautiful location overlooking La Jolla and Torrey Pines Golf Course.Must see The Modern Library. Has grown to be a very prestigious institution by adding great researchers and professors.

The university is vast with attractive grounds. It has a lot of diversity within the student body.It is a great place to walk around, though parking is all permitted.
