Having eaten small boxes of raisins at school for years we had no idea of the history behind the brand. Lots of fun, very informative and informational. Easily accessible from the highway. Well worth the stop - especially if the young ones interested in learning about things we take for granted. Did you know why they are called "Sunmaid"? Find... More

A nice clean store with every variety of dried fruits you can imagine. Many sizes, variety packs, shirts, coats, knickknacks. A nice video presentation on how raisins are grown and prepared. Store staff are friendly and helpful.

I stopped by at this store on our way back from Yosemite and I have to say that it was a nice break from all the driving. The store has tons of selections with samples as well. Since this is from the manufacturer directly, the price is very discounted. My wife and I loved all the different flavors that cannot... More

Wonderful variety of dried fruits and local gifts. All store items are very reasonably priced. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We love all the products, but the yogurt coated raisins are the best.

Lots of fun things to see in the store, not just raisins, but lots of cute stuff. A fun and interesting stop. But there are no "seconds" or factory outlet type prices. Still worth going. The raisins were super fresh as well, and able to get large quantity of yellow raisins that are usually hard to find.

It might be a little out of the way but worth it. Just off Hwy 99 at the bethel off ramp. Sunmaid is the largest raisin manufacturer in California. The store is cute and also tells the story of the food grown in the Central Valley. You find it delightful.

Easy to reach off Hwy 99. Excellent edible gifts for all occasions. I use quite a lot of raisons and so by their 5lb box. My favorites are the goldens. They also carry other dried fruit and nuts gift boxes

The plant is off the beaten path but it's worth the stop because they have a great little gift shop in front. It's full of great little gifts and treats, the best post cards in the valley, the biggest variety of raisin and dried fruit snacks. Look for the hidden gems - vintage posters and cool dried fruit - TRY... More
