Make the walk, medium size was perfect for us while you can see everything there is to see. In the rainy season path can be slippery while it is hot and steamy. So t Long track is more exhausting. Ask the guides to watch our for the young dragons, they remind you of jurassic park

We did the 2 day/one night trip around Komodo National Park. Although out of season, it was an experience we will never forget. As well as the seeing the dragons, we also swam with Manta Rays which was the highlight of the trip. We also swam with turtles & hundreds of exotic fish on the most amazing coral reef and... More

We booked our trip from Bali. Flight to Labuan Bajo was 90 mins & very pleasant (Lion airlines). We were picked up from the airport & taken to our hotel where we spent a lovely afternoon by the pool, sipping cocktails! Our pickup was 7am the next day. Driven to harbour with a guide who accompanied us on a fabulous... More

Don't get me wrong: this is an amazing trip. If you come from Flores and you have time, do the overnight boat trip and go to Rinca, Komodo, Manta point, pink beach and see the Flying foxes. Absolutely loved it. Compared to the smaller island Rinca, Komodo is more designed for tourists. This includes the suggestion that the Komodo dragons... More

For many people, this will be a once in a lifetime experience. Virtually unchanged since the early explorers arrived hundreds of years ago, and thanks to it's National Park status it will stay this way. The only way to arrive here is by boat, which adds to the mystery. As other reviewers have said, you feel as if you are... More

As you likely know, the Komodo Dragons are not dragons. They are the largest, and perhaps oldest, lizards on earth. When you arrive in the park you'll be escorted by Park Rangers. You must stay on the paths and there's a ranger in the front and back of your group to prevent you wandering off. To further emphasize this point... More

They told us Komodo National Park is the last vestige of a Jurassic World of Wonders. We got off the boat and made the short walk to the entrance of the national park (an entry was around 300 000 r each). We were told it was actually pretty rare to see them on the island. But the first dragon we... More

I went there around August 2016. The park itself has nothing much to see unless you like reptiles. I am not really a fan of it. but the landscape has good view. esp on top of the hills. However the park is supposedly one of the most natural park as human dont interfere with the komodo itself. What I love... More

It was my first time , me and my couple of friends have a trip to Labuan Bajo Flores and we decided to visit the Komodo National Park, we did not much of Komodo at that time, but to me personally it was an amazing experience having myself to visit one of the greatest world heritage in Indonesia.

The Park offers two experiences one is a long walk the other is a short one and that's it. That being said, the island can be hot so if you are not in good physical shape take the short hike because in the end everyone ends up seeing the same Komodo Dragons.
