A nice and photogenic wedding church
Aug. 2018 • Family
My sister had her wedding here, a beautiful little church gave her good memories. However, only photograhers of their own can be used, even we had paid for photography package, families are not allowed to take photos inside the church.

Pretty onthe outside
Nov. 2018 • Family
Couldn’t view the inside of church as I went around 9am in the morning. Area around it was pretty with autumn leaves, very picturesque n quiet. Walk in from
Ginza-dori was short and peaceful. Recommend as a small detour if time allows.

An interesting church made entirely of wood. Very pleasant surroundings. A must visit if you have a car.

Very unique church. Beautiful wood. Intimate.

This church is surrounded by beautiful trees and paths. We saw the bride and groom who were taking pictures prior to their ceremony in the church. Check out the small house to the left of the church where you can see many wedding pictures of couples who were married here — some multi-generational traditions ( mother and daughter both married here )

Wedding venue
Jul. 2017 • Family
We were here for my sons wedding in July. The Church is a fantastic venue, romantically set in the woods next to the hotel. The minister and organisers were perfect, always there to assist but not 'in your face'.

A wooden church close to the Stone Church
May 2016 • Family
A very beautiful wooden church setting in greenery environment. This church located very close to the Stone Church that attracted more visitor's attention. Actually, it will be more interesting to visit both churches together in order to have a strong architecture contrast i.e stone vs wood.
We were welcomed by a very friendly staff who allow us to visit the inner part of church and the church library next door that contain all the records and photos of past wedding sessions which is very interesting.

Beautiful church, nestled in the wood
May 2016 • Solo
Located in Hoshino area, the church nestles in the wood, near Hotel Briston Court.

It is a small and beautiful church with serenity and tranquility. It has rows of wooden pews and an automatic harp at the front of the sanctuary. The music played by the harp was lovely...I could just sit there for a long time to immerse & be mesmerized by the sweet music.

I am not sure if the church actually conducts any service or only for wedding ceremony. I was blessed that my visit wasn't disrupted by any on-going ceremony as was mentioned by some reviewers.

It's really worth a visit to this divine church.

CHURCH IN THE WOODS
Oct. 2015
I am so happy to have seen this rustic little church. What a pretty setting for a wedding! We were there just before a wedding began. The lady was arranging little lawyers in the walkway. This is is just a few steps from the beautiful hotel where you may have the reception after and guests stay.

There is a roofed area a hundred steps out of the church for champagne toasting after the wedding.

Karuizawa Kogen Church
Apr. 2015 • Solo
When I walked around Hoshino area, I came across this church. The church is near Hotel Bleston Court. The church was a "typical" church that we imagine as a church in Karuizawa. This church looked rather for wedding ceremony and tourism than religion.

It was Christmas time and they have many Xmas events. We regret unable to attend as our hotel is far.
