Extremely popular resort because of it is perhaps the only one within walking distance from a train station. Free shuttle bus from karuizawa Station south exit. 10min to resort. All ski gears (including gloves, ski pants etc) can be rented either at the only shop...More

We enjoyed our ski sessions. Nice slopes for beginners and there are shuttle buses to take you around the resorts. A bit pricey though, it’s better to bring your own jacket/ski pants.

The ski area is quite confined and the snow is man-made - no powder here folks. Pictures posted on the internet look much better than the reality. Anyway, you can always shop at the nearby outlet mall...

There is a parking lot. On weekdays it is free but on weekends and other busy days it is 1,000 yen per car.

Some resorts sell it in the ski shop. Never seen any rental for the padded pants.
