The beach has great potential. Needs to be cleaned up of cigarette ends and rubbish. Although there are thatched roofed bars there are no beach loungers etc

Just a tourist spot. A few restaurants, and patios. We just seen locals hanging out, usually sitting on the walkways. Not a very clean beach, fairly rough waters. Nothing special

This is now a private beach for a hotel/bungalow/casino complex, we walked to it from the beach and found it difficult to find our way out of the complex

If you want to have a stroll along the beach and enjoy the sea breeze, Independence Beach can be a choice. There is really nothing special and you can see over-development here. You can see a couple of restaurants here, trying to seize the attention...More

Nothing special, a lot of constructions going on at the time I was there. There are several restaurants and they charge pretty much the same as in the other beaches.

This beach is located directly next to the grounds of the Independence Hotel itself (hence the name). If you're staying directly at the hotel itself, you can actually access the beach via the lift from the hotel grounds (i.e. the same lift that goes to...More

Hi, best way is on a tuk tuk if your ship is pulling into Sihanoukville, if you only there for the day. It took us about 10 to 15 minutes on a motor bike. Make sure you agree on a price before you get in the tuk tuk. If you... More
