Nicest feature of this hotel is the infinity pool and the Brown coffee on the public beach front. The path to the small private beach area from the pavilion units can be tricky to tread, wet and uneven. The on-site restaurant food was mediocre, same with the breakfast buffet (fruits were not fresh). The rooms were decent and clean but no ocean view from pavillion. The whole beach area was disappointing; public beaches are littered with trash, tin barrels, and street vendors ruining the scenery. Plus all you see are abandoned constructions of high rise buildings everywhere apparently by chinese investors ( legit and not legit is what I heard) due to the pandemic Otres must have been beautiful at one time; I see the natural beauty which is now marred by litter and abandoned buildings unfortunately. Not worth the almost 3 hour drive from Phnom Penh.

This whole town should be avoided. It's a filthy crumbling garbage heap. The water at the beach is nothing you'd ever want to immerse yourself in without a giant shot of penicillin waiting for you on shore.
