Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Terrible place to visit. That too upon paying a fee. We were thirsty by the time we got here. So was the water-fall so much so that all the water fell before getting here. Do not visit

Just a tiny waterfall, nothing less and nothing more.
Bumpy & sandy road to get there, to take a cab with comfortable seats and airconditioning.
Tip: Do not take a Tuk Tuk.
From the cruise port, it’s a 45 min ride single way. Due to the traffic road conditions to get to the waterfall.
Locals come here with their families to eat and enjoy the quiet location.

Good atmosphere and beautiful outdoor space to do photography. Water could be dried out when hot season.

My friends and I was there since two years ago. It was beautiful and peaceful. Not sure how it is now. Waterfall was great. You could enjoy the peace and quietness of nature. Best to relax and photo shooting if you like to take photos.

People bobbing around in fetid pools filled with mounds of rubbish. The surrounding jungle has been burnt down, and the road has been devastated (HUGE pot holes). The only reason I would go here would be to support the poor locals selling their fares - as they seemed to be really struggling to scratch a living here. Filled with people throwing their rubbish around, and listening to very loud competing sound systems. Such a disappointment. We had been here 12+ years ago, and it was beautiful then. The only good that came out of it is that my whole family have become anti-plastic crusaders as a result of the visit!

We were at the waterfalls in late January. The road to the waterfalls was pretty dusty, but there was a fair amount of water running through the falls. There is a bit of rubbish around, but overall the waterfalls are nice. The covered areas with hammocks are a really cool place to relax and have a drink. We thought it was well worth the trip.

This place has nothing to see, it will be a nice trip for group but not solo traveler. You will be disappointed if you expect a beautiful landscape, there are so many trash. However, you guys can camp instead, a marvelous night with campfire would be perfect.

The Kbal Chhay waterfalls is pretty and surrounded by nature, unfortunately it is polluted in areas of plastic. It’s a nice little walk around and swim but felt the drive up on the scooter was more exciting.
Be prepared to pay $1 entry.
