We had one person using a walker and she and was able to experience this site. There were a few steps to get into the building. If we needed to, we could have used the wheelchair inside. The woman docent was very friendly and knowledgeable....More

It's nothing to write home about, but if you're in Julian, you should definitely stop by. It's full of memorabilia and apparently they have decided to keep everything old and dusty to reflect it's age. It's a cheap activity and centrally located. Boring for kids,...More

There is lots to look at here but not well displayed. Old dusty place but does seem to fit the things in it. Only $3.00 so it's still worth a visit.

We enjoyed speaking with Donna and David about the history of the town. They were knowledgeable and friendly.

I've been here a few times over the years and always enjoy looking at the many historic items on display from the town in its mining days. I highly recommend it if you're strolling around Julian to get a little more immersed in its history.

They ask for a donation to visit which helps to cover their expenses. There is a good representation of the local mining history as well as items provided by local families and business. I enjoyed walking through this museum

If you have children this is an average museum because a lot of it is ready and "Please Do Not Touch" signs. It's cute but do not plan your day here. My 6 yr old son and I spend out 30 minutes inside. It's a...More

David is a great guy; he runs the place. Also does amazing historical town tours by appointment. Great way to spend a day!
