This museum, with no entry fee, has a gorgeous collection of paintings portraying the California land and seascapes. I actually loved how it was smaller as I was able to spend a good couple of hours enjoying each painting rather than rushing around so I...More

The landscape paintings were absolutely stunning and deepens my appreciation for the coast's natural beauty. My personal favorites were "Pepperdine University Remembers 9/11" and "On the Beach." The paintings rotate, so there is limited time on what there is to see. While parking does cost...More

I thought it would be one of those city museums I have seen in my Europe or Turkey travels. But this basically provides nice painting galleries. You can validate your parking ticket. It is then free.

The museum is such a nice place to see some beautiful artwork. A very peaceful setting to enjoy the artwork. You can find the art pieces in the museum store as well in notecards and books.

Small collection of truly great art. Loved getting to know the California Impressionists. Remarkable work of our beautiful state - in a way that makes you appreciate our surroundings even more. If you enjoy art - don’t miss this!

It’s a little hard to find in the lobby of an office building (they validate parking). They rotate their collection, and when I visited, they had California impressionists, some of which were very nice, others just ok
