The museum is such a nice place to see some beautiful artwork. A very peaceful setting to enjoy the artwork. You can find the art pieces in the museum store as well in notecards and books.

The Irvine museum (part of UCI) is hidden in an office park in Irvine. It is about a 5 minute walk from the Hampton Inn Irvine/OC airport, and I stopped by when I had a little free time on a business trip. The museum is...More

Small collection of truly great art. Loved getting to know the California Impressionists. Remarkable work of our beautiful state - in a way that makes you appreciate our surroundings even more. If you enjoy art - don’t miss this!

It’s a little hard to find in the lobby of an office building (they validate parking). They rotate their collection, and when I visited, they had California impressionists, some of which were very nice, others just ok

I've visited a number of times over the years and enjoyed it, but never as much as last week with Dora James as our very well-informed tour guide. Lovely pieces, great information; we specially enjoyed the early California history.

The exhibits at the Irvine Museum change every three months. Entrance is free and free validated parking. There's also a small restaurant outside with a lovely outside sitting area with beautiful plantings and a contemporary fountain. A really pleasant visit!
