This memorial was first started to mark the passing of soldiers in the Gulf War and now has evolved into a permanent memorial. The park itself (which local youngsters sometimes call "Castle Park") includes a good playground area and a walking path with exercise stations.

This is a wonderful memorial in a beautiful park in Northwood. There is a playground for the kids as well as picnic tables. The setting is idyllic and a great way to pass a summer afternoon.
