Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great Thai massage. You can ask for the combo as well. Walk or bring plenty of quarters for the meter.

We went to this place based on Tripadvisor reviews. It's in walking distance of our hotel the Grandview Inn. It was a good massage, just not what I'm used to. It's Thai massage which is much different than the relaxing aromatherapy massage I'm used to. That said, it was kind of painful sometimes, as they push on pressure points, and stretch you out, and walk on your back! Overall though, a good experience, they are very nice, reasonably priced, and afterwards, I felt awesome! I will go back there if I'm ever in the area.

The folks at Revive Thai Spa are very friendly, helpful, and most of all professional. I came in with an aching neck and sore back and left feeling like I can compete in the Olympics :) (well, not quite that, but you get my point!!!)

For me, the process was simple...

1. set up an appointment
2. show up at my allotted time
3. go directly to the therapy room

It was a great experience!

I agree with the other reviewer, bring a lot of quarters for the meter, or park in the residential area then walk.

Great job!!!!

We happened upon this spot after having dinner down the street. We walked in and decided to go with an hour long massage, couples style. We were taken to a comfortable area and we both received one of the best massages either of us had gotten in a long time. There was no small talk to be made. I swear the woman giving my massage had the strongest, magical fingers ever. The massage was strong and she found all the spots that needed attention. We could not have been happier.

When I first took a flyer off the wall outside of Revive Thai Spa, just up from the pier in Hermosa Beach, I was surprised at the low prices. I booked an evening massage by phone, and when I entered the spa, the aroma of the oils immediately relaxed me. I was shown to a room with the sheet decoratively draped. The music playing was perfect. Soon a woman named Cindy came in and began the massage. From the beginning, I could tell that she was professional, experienced, and very knowledgable. Her strokes were strong and smooth, and her fingers intuitively found every tight or knotted muscle. She knew to stay in an area and work it out until smooth, something that prevents later soreness. This was a massage well worth the money, and obviously others agree. There were four ladies working on a Sunday evening, and walk-ins had to be turned away. I will return next time I am in town, and bought a couple of gift certificates for relatives in town. The only negative I have is in regards to the tacky sign at the counter that suggests a $10-$15 tip for a $49 massage, lest they have to raise their prices to those of the bigger spas. That was unprofessional and unnecessary, in my opinion.
