Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Healdsburg plaza is a 19th-century style public square that provides an important focal point for tourists and locals. The plaza is surrounded by terrific eating, wonderful drinking, and some good shopping.
In the center of the plaza is an open air six-side gazebo to hold musical performance in the summer.
The century old redwood trees through the plaza provide plenty of shade with delightful green iron benches circling the tree base. More benches are clustered in selected areas for socializing.
Nearby, there is a granite memorial in memory of those who died in WW1, WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War, & Gulf War.
After visiting the many shops in downtown Healdsburg, I enjoyed resting at the BEAUTIFUL HAVEN … at the Healdsburg Plaza.

Everything about Healdsburg screams small town charm!
Amazing restaurants, unique stores, wine bars and cocktails. There's something for everyone! Plus we lucked out with a musician just singing in the park while we enjoyed local pie and ice cream. Already planning a return back!

I have some polite advice for the people of Healdsburg who are selling women’s clothes. I don’t wear pink glitter boots. I don’t wear overpriced silver leather jackets, or dresses where the waist sits above my bellybutton. It would be wonderful to find nice clothes that are sort of normal looking to dress up in. Not too many frills, or see through gauzy tops or faux cowgirl skirts that cost $300. Just normal, simple dress up clothes, maybe with real pockets. Thank you.

Delightful brief stay at The Nest Cottage at ru Farm - a most charming place! The surrounding gardens that are part of the ru Farm venue & vineyard vista are worth the visit alone! So many pretty photo ops. As a fellow venue owner (in Ohio) I would choose this venue myself for an event if I had that opportunity! What an experience to offer your guests! The cottage is as depicted on VRBO, & most comfy bed & linens - did NOT want to get our of bed in the morning! And so close to the wonderful small town of Healdsburg with lots of great restaurant options. Sure hope to return!

It can get hot in Healdsburg. Really Hot! It's nice to have shady retreat to go to. Who doesn't like a town with an old fashioned Plaza? Thanks to the all the City Planners that respected this community, protected our sustainable green space and kept their cool as our planet continues to heat up. TIP: Find a bench to relax in between shopping, dining or venturing to the Farmer's Market.

Contrary to popular opinion, I found the town a little too manufactured, a little too high end, not quite as authentic as other nearby cities. It was lovely, but it’s mostly high-end shopping, gallery outlets, expensive restaurants and lots of tasting rooms. I did find a fun vintage shop, but when looking for a light lunch almost everything seemed too formal or requiring a long service experience. Notice…if you go during the week, we went on a Tuesday, some businesses are closed. It might be that we had cute town burnout, so if ever back, we’ll look to explore more of the side streets.

This is the crown jewel of Healdsburg. A beautiful town square with lots of shade and benches - it was a perfect place to get food to go and go sit in the plaza to eat. Very beautiful and peaceful and easy to maintain social distance from others in the Covid era.

It's the center of this small town, a pretty square with landscaping in the center and lots of shopping and eating all around. Events are held here. Also just a good place to spend some time. More upscale all the time, each time we return.

Nice, small plaza and a couple of blocks to explore. Parking can be a challenge so park where you can and start your explorations from there. Lots of nice restaurants, shops and art galleries to check out!

Nice place to hang out and they even had some music playing. Great navigation point in the center of town. Easy for us to find the tasting rooms in relationship to the square

What about a plaza/square in Calistoga? We wanted to do the bike/winery tour

Two 60 yr old women that would like to leave the rental car at hotel and walk and enjoy eating and drinking in a cute plaza. Sonoma or Healdsburg? Don’t want to put all the budget in fancy accommodations, rather spend it on experiences.

Healdsburg plaza is quaint and beautiful just to do whatever you want to do walk around hang out eat delicious food and enjoy great drinks especially the wine. I would highly recommend Healdsburg and the accommodation is in walking distance so no need for a car. However you can always find parking and they give you a good amount of time 2 to 3 hours. They are strict on parking so make sure you are back before your time runs out.

My boyfriend challenged me to do 20 paintings in 30 days, and I did it.
I was wondering if I can display 20 paintings 10"x10" at the square, so my friends and people can hear my story and see what I did, without getting in trouble.
Thank you!

Probably not. The plaza has lots of events organized on the weekends including art shows. You'll need to run it by the City of Healdsburg and if you are selling your paintings you'll need to get a business permit.
