Wow, what a wonderful experience for the four of us. We started in the tasting room and with our host Darren Abel. Darren started us off with a tasting of Dry Creek Vineyard's flagship Fume Blanc. While Darren explained the history of Dry Creek we were introduced to an amazing lady President Kim Stare Wallace. She greeted us to the... More

So... my wife and I are really into wine. It is Sunday evening as I am typing these words and I am already planning which bottle would complement next Saturday's dinner the best (we don't really drink during the week)... Our last three night trip to Sonoma and Napa had us visit a total of 12 wineries, some of which... More

I've been coming here since the 80s and they still have their game on. They make some of the best Zinfandels in the Dry Creek Valley -- arguably THE place to experience the best Zinfandel.

Beautiful grounds, outstanding people. And outstanding wine. Highly recommend all the wines but Cabernet Sauvignon is our favorite.

Find the entrance right across of the Dry Creek General Store. $15 tasting, but you can mix and match with your spouse to taste near the full list. It's hard to believe, but we liked everything and joined the wine club. The Sauvignon Blanc and Zins were especially good. Friendly staff, nice garden with tables. We went in February and... More

Dry Creek Winery has been a consistently special experience for me for over 20 years. The lawn and picnic area are lovely, and the folks that work there are friendly and knowledgable. Bring a picnic on a nice day, buy some wine to enjoy with it, and expect to relax and enjoy the good life!

Well I must say that we had the best and most educational tasting session ever at the Dry Creek Vineyard! It even included tastings from their red wine 95+ year old vines and their 135 year old vines. We had the best experience ever! The winery also offers a reasonable priced wine club and ships nationwide.

There are plenty of tourist-centric wineries in the North Bay wine country (and even more in Napa). But if you are a local (or wish you were a local) and understand wine and want to learn more, Dry Creek Winery is your place. Not a place for smooth jazz concerts in your Tommy Bahama shirt, so if you want to... More

I had seen Dry Creek wine with the distinctive sail boat labels in the stores. I didn't know much about the wine but had received a bottle as a gift. We were in the area tasting wine and decided to stop in the Tasting Room at Dry Creek Vineyard. We had a great experience. There were pretty gardens. Our server... More

I have not been to Dry Creek Vineyard for several years. The good news is it seems the same. There is a nice grassy picnic area out front. Unfortunately it was a very rainy day so were unable to sit and enjoy some nice wine and appetizers. The person helping us at the tasting was very knowledgeable on the their... More
