We were introduced to and educated about some excellent Pinot Noirs and a wonderful Chardonnay . Our host was knowledgeable and answered our many questions about the various wines that we sampled and then bought. Serious wine enthusiasts should consider putting this winery on their itineraries when they visit this area.

We got lucky - this place usually doesn't take tasting reservations for anyone but members of their wine club, but they had a cancellation just as we called so they let us come. Hard place to find - no signage. they will send you directions - follow them carefully. Locked gate requires a call in from the box. Great wines... More

There is no denying that Williams Selyem knows how to make a great Pinot Noir; however, the winery experience could use a little work. We booked a private tour and were greeted by Rich, our guide. From the start, we felt a little out of place because there was an air of pretentiousness throughout the entire experience. The fact that... More

Eight girlfriends arrived to a beautiful vineyard, had pictures made with vines that are so beautiful then started walking towards this amazingly mordern structure where we were met by our host as we were walking up the steps. He immediately led us to our table where our names were listed on a plaque at the table. Our tasting was lovely... More

Williams Selyem will tell you their Pinot is the best in the world, and they aren't just tooting their own horn. They have the acknowledgement to prove it. George led us in our tasting, which was in a beautiful space. Their building is, architecturally, amazing. Draws you in from the moment you drive up. We were greeted and led to... More

I was lucky enough to be invited by a friend that is on the allocation list for a wine tasting. This place is so interesting. They don't have a sign at the street. Their building is beautiful. The grounds are spotless. George led us in our tasting. The unoaked Chardonnay was the best I have ever had. Nothing can top... More

My wife and I were able to make an appointment for a private tasting at this awesome place. Jerry was our private tour guy. The guy not only knows a lot about WS wines, but also about other wineries and restaurants in the area. There were so many PNs being produced here, ranging from light, medium to big/bold PNs. The... It is impressive, from the architecture to the wines. It was quite hard to find as it doesn't have any sign (on purpose). Private formal tour and tasting. I loved the attention to the detail: it had our names printed on a display, all organized on a table where the wines were placed in order of tasting as well as... More

My fiancé and I were invited to a tasting and tour by friends who are members of this winery's club. It is the only way to get an appointment for a tasting. We had been to two additional wineries by the time we visited Williams Selyem. The prior two wineries were informal and relaxed. This was definitely a more formal... More

This is a private tasting of mostly Pinot Noirs - but they also do a Chenin Blanc & a Port. I've never been a PN fan - but I am now. Katie Murphy Slater guided us through the tasting & the winery. She was charming as well as amazing in her knowledge about the wines. We were with her for... More
