Wine Tasting
Oct. 2020
We wanted to try this since we are Zin fans. It came recommended. While the location is really nice very peaceful the wine itself was nothing to write home about. Since covid we weren't able to walk the fields or see the process of making it which may have enhanced it. Overall there are others I would try before this one.

Always crowded, but always a nice tasting.
Feb. 2020
It's always crowded and pretty loud here, and we got here this time when they opened. The wine is always great though, and the wine educators are always informative. My recommendation for anyone tasting in a group here, is split the two tastings between two people as the pours are large enough for two people to be able to try both.

Wine with the Vines at Ridge
Jan. 2020 • Couples
Beautiful cool January day sipping red beauties with a vista of sleeping ancient and middle aged vibes. Great convo with the very sweet and knowledgeable David and a few great wines to go! Very enjoyable stop in Dry Creek area.

Your is a must
Sep. 2019 • Friends
Our son had just done the tasting months ago and was a little disappointed. We and our friends took the $35 wine tour and tasting and Ridge Vinyards hit it out of the park. Toured the vineyard in a golf cart with our guide. Learned tons about the growing and the process of wine making. Had a tasting afterwards in a private room with with charcuterie tray. Highly recommend!

Excellent Century Tour and Library Tasting
Sep. 2019
We booked the Century Tour and Library Tasting at Ridge Vineyards in Lytton Springs at the recommendation of a friend. It was a delightful experience for all of us!

Josh first took us for a tour through the wine estate, stopping at various places to explain different challenges of growing grapes. He is very knowledgeable and taught us far more than we will ever be able to remember. The tour through the winery was equally informative, and we were amazed by the overwhelming aromas of the grapes which had just begun to be crushed. We ended the tour with a private, seated wine tasting accompanied by a charcuterie plate of meats, cheeses and dried fruit.

If you are in the area, this is the place to visit to learn about growing grapes and to taste some excellent wines.

Excellent tour and tasting!
Jul. 2019
Having tasted many great Ridge wines, I was very happy to have the opportunity to visit Lytton Springs. We took the tour through the vineyards. Our tour guide was a former NASA engineer. I can't recall his name, but he was very knowledgeable and a great host. The tasting at the end of the tour was first class - 5 wines with a meat and cheese plate accompaniment. Learn quite a bit about field blends and gained an appreciation of the depth of wine making knowledge at Ridge.

First Class

A wonderful way to begin our stay in Sonoma County with the folks at Ridge Vineyards. A beautiful tour through the vineyards with our guide, Joshua DeLoach, followed by a private tasting of unparalleled wines.

Great wines at Affordable prices

Well we had Joshua do our flight and of course we bought wine. I had several locals tell me to go here and we are glad we did. They are professional, knowledgeable and the grounds are beautiful. They sell an excellent foil cutter too!

Give feedback on your wines to enhance your wine tasting experience
May 2019 • Couples
My wife and I decided to visit here, because one of the hosts at nearby Jordan winery raved about the Zinfandels at Ridge Vineyards. Zack was our friendly host at Ridge. He told us about their transparency through ingredient labeling, their use of natural yeast, and no use of commercial enzymes or nutrients.

I was not impressed with the wines initially served. They were too young to be enjoyed. Based on that feedback, Zack poured some additional wines that we enjoyed--notably the 2016 Pagani Ranch Zinfandel and the flagship 2015 Monte Bello Cabernet Sauvignon. Our wine tasting fee was comp'd because of the referral from Jordan Winery and our purchase of a bottle of the Zinfandel.

Ask about wine of the month
Apr. 2019 • Couples
When we arrived the patio tables were full but very few people were in the tasting room. We started our tasting but our server had to leave so another server who was finishing up with another group took over. It was a little disorganized. We added the Monte Bello to our tasting as it is their premier award winning wine. The Monte Bello was very good but out of our price range. We enjoyed getting to try it. Our server was very informative about the organic wine growing process. Most of the wines offered in our tasting were zins and they were good but nothing we absolutely loved. As we were getting ready to leave, my husband noticed a sign about the petite syrah- wine of the month. He asked about it and although it was not on the specific tasting menu our server gladly poured it for us. We loved it. Bought several bottles. So ask about the wine of the month when you visit. If we had not asked we would have missed a wine we loved.
