Stuhlmuller is kinda an "old-school" tasting room. To reach it you need to leave a main road and travel a couple of miles. Fortunately, the road was recently repaved but it is narrow in a few places. Pleasant staff though apparently there was a significant...More

On our first ever visit to Stuhlmuller we were treated like family by Andrew . We sat at the round table and sampled a number of very good wines. We joined the wine club.

Visited mid April to pick up our spring wine club selections. As always, tasting room staff was very friendly and helpful. Wines seem to improve annually; particularly enjoyed the Summit Chardonnay and Block 11 Cabernet. Very pleasant facility; many picnic tables on patio.

The winery was on a side road which used to be where the Wells Fargo stagecoach traveled. The winery was mostly known for Zinfandel, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon wines. My husband bought the 2103 estate Zinfandel which was intense and robust. The staff was friendly...More

This winery is definitely off the beaten path in Alexander Valley, and worth the scenic drive to get there. Because it takes a little effort to get there, it seems unlikely that you'll find yourself elbow to elbow with dozens of other people in the...More
