Tucked into the hills of Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, Jordan Vineyard...

Tucked into the hills of Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, Jordan Vineyard & Winery welcomes guests by appointment for three distinctive tours and tastings. From a tasting in our private library to a tour through our iconic chateau or an epicurean excursion across the breathtaking estate, there is something for everyone to enjoy. All tours include both walking and seated tastings, each featuring seasonal tastes from the Jordan chef paired with vintages of Jordan Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Jordan's Estate Tour & Tasting also includes driving. Advance reservations are required due to the intimacy of tastings. Inspired by the timeless elegance of French wine and food, Tom and Sally Jordan founded Jordan Vineyard & Winery in 1972. Their vision was to create a wine estate that produced food-friendly Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay to rival the finest in France--and to capture the essence of gracious hospitality. Today their son, John, builds upon their legacy.

We had a large group of 10 and the folks at Jordan took great care of us. The property itself is stunning. Once inside, you get a insightful history about the family and vineyard. After wetting our appetites in the library, we were whisked away behind a hidden door for the main tasting. Our group had a fantastic time. Great... More

Jordan Winery is first-class, from the wine tastings, to the tours, and not to forget the mouth-watering views. They only specialize in two varietals; Cabernet and Chardonnay. In my opinion, they have perfected them too. Their property is spectacular and their wine makers are among the very best. They also grow their own Olive Tree's and make some of the... More

It was raging hard and we still wanted to visit Jordon winery for a tasting. We were the only people there so Rennie took us upstairs to the first tasting room. She did a great job explaining how the Jordon's came from Europe and started the winery in the valley. It was a very interesting story and we enjoyed. She... More

My husband had heard from his boss how great the Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon was, and had tried it on a couple of occasions, so we decided to make a reservation for a library tasting. We were not disappointed. We were greeted in the lobby by Carlie who actually did our tasting. She is a sommelier and very knowledgeable about the... More

A large group of us did the Winery Tour & Library Tasting, and it was well worth the $40/person charge! Many wineries are now charging a large fee just for a group to do a tasting, but this experience was so much more. The Jordan Vineyard is a beautiful estate that is a lovely setting more similar to France than... More

With all of the wineries in the area, Jordan is a real stand out for their absolutely stunning facility, staff that goes above and beyond to give you a personal, memorable experience, and selection of truly lovely wines.

I've been to Jordan several times and never been disappointed. Came back out with my girlfriend and some of her friends who live in Santa Rosa but had not been to Jordan. Because it was somewhat last minute we could only get a tasting for 2. That was okay. We let the ladies go and the guys were planning on... More

The wines are good (I won't say they are exceptional, but certainly worth a taste), but it's the setting that is compelling. Absolutely gorgeous. And we had a lovely tasting and perfect food presentation (cheese and crackers/bread). Be sure to bring your camera!

A visit to Jordan is an experience and one we enjoyed. Reservations are required as each tour and tasting is limited to a small number of people and is conducted by a tour guide along with food to complement the wine. We reserved the library tasting which starts in the library of the beautiful Winery Chateau and ends with a... More
