We arrived mid-afternoon on a warm and sunny fall day. There was ample parking. The surf was crashing against the shore. There were Beach walkers and surfers of all ages ready to ride the medium sized waves. The scenery is fantastic. The birds were gliding...More

This is a very nice State Beach that is very close to San Francisco. It has camping with a few sites with full hook-ups. Reservations is suggested as it does fill up fast during the summer months. The bathrooms are very clean. The park host/hostess...More

It's been foggy the whole time, which gave the feeling of being the only people here. The crash of the waves, the shorelines, everything about it was peaceful and beautiful.

We left the highway at 3pm and it's a long line moving forward to Half Moon Bay. The waiting time is well deserved after arriving Ritz-Carlton's 25 free public parking lot. Fantastic view from the Coastal Trail. We left at 5:30pm, fortunately traffic went well...More

Half Moon Bay is a nice oceanside park with scenic views. The high winds make for cool looking waves that crash against the shore.

This is such a beautiful beach to hang out at all day and watch the surfers, or simply to walk. You can see harbour seals from the beach, too. It's also a spectacular place to see the sunset!
