We didn't see the mega-waves but still enjoyed the stroll and scenery. A family and pet friendly place to get some exercise and fresh air.

Mavericks is World Famous for some of the largest waves in the world. Located at Pillar Point in El Granada, this place offers a great trail for walking and surf viewing.

So pretty and fun to walk out to. Lots of shells and fun ocean stuff to look at. Beautiful scenery and navy choppers fly by.

We came here just to say that we've seen the famous surf spot. Of course, at this time of year there were no big waves, but it was gorgeous!

I think Half Moon Bay is the location closest to The Mavericks for hotel accommodations. I stayed at the Ritz Carlton, which was absolutely lovely
