We learned so much about mining that we were only dimly aware of before. We were too early for the tour (it was 10 a.m. and the next tour was at 1:00) but we loved the museum.

A fantastic gold mine in the Mother Load of California. The docent that guided us through was very good. We got a private tour, mid week.
