Day use is available but there are many campsites for RVs. Mostly, the sites ave good views and privacy unlike so many other state beach parks. Hard to get into if you don't have a reservation.

We stopped to pass time and take a break from driving. $10 day pass was purchased at the entrance booth. Campground was full and large numbers of families were there. Bathrooms needed some cleaning on this Sunday afternoon. But, while loved the location (we are...More

I visited last week for the first time since I moved to Goleta. The scenery is breathtaking and its something a picture won't do justice for.

This beach is so peaceful and beautiful. UCSB students rarely come here and it is usually almost empty. Come for the sunsets, they are breathtaking.

Have been going to Refugio for years. Shame on the State of CA for this dilapidated campground with filthy bathrooms. Seems like every other year place is overflowing with "fat" ground squirrels. Got into our vehicle engine--chewed wires and left footprints and droppings all over...More

It`s special to be able to drive right to the ocean and set up a campsite, fix your own meals and walk on the beach and swim in the water all in a moment. This is well maintained, very popular and reservations are essential.

We spent today, Memorial Day at Refugio Beach. Arrive early to get good parking! We arrived at 8:45 AM and there was still plenty of parking and 2 close picnic tables for us. We brought our own double kayaks and saw dolphins, 2 sea otters...More

It has been my favorite beach for many years but the State has done and awful job of maintaining the campground. This is a very high use park because of the beautiful beach palm tree lined cove. This campground should be a "State showcase". I...More

You should not have a problem. Depending on the spot you may need to unhook and park your truck next to your rig. Good luck!
