This is a must-do when you visit Los Angeles. Apart from numerous gravestones you can visit a museum with an enormous painting of The last supper/

Yes, it was surprisingly a good place for birdwatching. We had some time to kill and we visited Forest Lawn. We were surprised to find a Red Tailed Hawk and some Eurasian starlings there. The place was peaceful and this could have been the reason...More

Losing my mom recently, I visit this place almost every week. This is a place, where you can find peace and quiet in the nature. I feel so rested and relaxed in this park, that l can stay there for hours.

Went to see my friend's mom. She was near Bette Davis, Liberacci, Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher. Lovely, gracious, quiet. Staff was helpful. Great view of Griffith Park and the Valley. Respectful. Worth a leisurely stroll.

My daughter has read every book available on the life of Walt Disney, so we want to pay our respects when we visit. However, despite reading online that Walt's grave marker is in Forest Lawn in Glendale, a search of his name doesn't return any hits on the Forest Lawn, Glendale, website. Can anyone confirm that we will actually be able to see his grave marker?

Why can't I take pictures inside the buildings? Is this some post-9/11 or privacy issue? Can I get permission to take pictures inside the buildings?

If you are talking about the crypts I would feel it comes under private property. While it is an enteresting attraction, a certain amount of respect, dignity and decorum should be observed. Not everyone in Forest Lawn... More

You can take pics in the cemetery & outside the buildings but not inside any of the buildings. The chapels, mausoleums & theaters are off limits to cameras. The only exceptions would be weddings & funerals.
