The Village Market in Glen Ellen is a delightful supermarket with a vast array of offerings. While they have the typical supermarket offerings(canned goods, dairy, cereals, etc), they offer a notch above most. Their meat department is wonderful as is their deli. They prepare delicious sandwiches and have a huge selection ready to go in their case. You can also... More

We were pleasantly surprised by array of selections that deli had to offer for a quick on the go lunch between winery visits. They had something to offer everyone in our party. We ended up sharing our selections so everyone could have a taste. It was so good we stopped twice. We'll be sure stop again.

Love their deli and grab and go options. Pricing is a bit higher but you know you're getting good local ingredients. The staff is always happy and friendly and it serves as a perfect stop to grab whatever you might for a day of wine tasting, hiking in Jack London State Park, or just a quick lunch on their outdoor... Great local store with gourmet food, a deli and lots of local wines. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. They have a coffee bar with close to ten varieties of brewed coffee. Check it out.

The Glen Ellen Village Market has a little bit of everything, and everything is really good. The shelves are stocked with pastas, wines, canned goods, fruits and vegetables, cheeses, etc. They also have a nice selection of salads and made to order salads. This is a great place to pick up some food on your way to nearby wineries to... More

This is one of my favorite markets in the world. Gourmet and organic picks and an amazing sandwich bar that my husband wanted to visit almost everyday. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

I shop for food almost everyday. I'd rather shop for food than clothes, shoes or jewelry. I have been a customer of the Glen Ellen Market (formerly Shone's) for twenty five years. Best meat market in Sonoma Valley. Ask for Barry. There's nothing he can't get for you and sometimes he has special things in back for good customers. Nice... More

Glen Ellen is rather tiny - however, you can stock up on just about everything at the Glen Ellen Village Market (which is actually an IGA Grocery Store). From wine to great breads, and the usual grocery store items - this place is great. We didn't notice the ready-made sandwiches until our second visit - perfect for a picnic lunch... More

Get a couple of their great sandwiches for $7-8 and take them on a hike to Jack London or Sonoma Valley.

Great place to grab a fresh sandwich for a picnic lunch. They have everything you need and more. The food was fresh and they have some tables if you want to eat there.
