This is fun place to spend the afternoon. My wife and I stopped in after lunch at Diavola (Next door), having read the great reviews on Trip advisor. We were the only ones in the room at the time, but we had a great time trading stories with Grady, tasting the great wines and being made to feel like we... More

Mercury's tasting room is a down home atmosphere. The staff make you feel very comfortable with excellent knowledge of the varietals presented with humor by Grady the wine maker's brother. He draws cartoons too. They have one of the best Sav. Blancs out there plus awesome reds and red blends rivaling many more expensive wineries offerings. If you are lucky,... More

Mercury is great because it's different. You get Chardonnay with skins (well, not actually in the wine, just during fermentation), a multi-year Tempranillo and jug wine (that you can refill upon your return for a discount). A very friendly winery that is the opposite of snooty. Total fun!

We went based on a recommendation. The tasting room is in the little town of Geyserville and some what off the beaten path. We had a great time and the wine was wonderful. We loved just about everything we tasted. We ended up joining the wine club and continue to enjoy the wines at home.

The person who serves the wine tasting is quite a character. He is definitely passionate about the wines. The Chardenay was quite good (I don't like buttery, and this wasn't). The wine in a jug is fun. You bring back the bottle for refills at a discounted rate.

Just a fun place - very knowledgeable server. Kept everyone happy and glasses filled as he shared his knowledge of the wines.

We were very well received at Mercury wines. They have a very different concept. The owner is so enthusiastic and energetic and his love for his job really shows during the conduction of the wine tasting. The wine is really really good (great Chardonnay and red blends) and we also had the great company of Freddie, the sweetest dog ever.

Mercury ended being our favorite stop on a wine tasting tour. Brad and Grady made the tasting a real event. The passion that Brad has for his craft was very evident. If you want to experience a small passionate winery try Mercury.
