Went there to see one of the holiday shows and was not sure if I was even in a church....it seemed more like a tourist site.

Was there during a speech by this business guy back in June 2014, I only came for the free sandwich because I know the guy who tried to brainwash us with ways to be successful doing business is A FRAUD. With a low, low cost of 2579.99, you can start you're own business with them, very similar to easy cash... More

I went there today since I'm in Garden Grove for work this week. Turns out the main church is closed for 2 years for renovation, but the grounds are open along with the other buildings including a historical museum of the founder and how this church started, architectural history, etc. Gorgeous grounds and they offer services every day on site... We did our bridal party here, I can say that this is a great spot for it. Lots of other parties or tourists taking photos as well.

A great example of ancient architecture deployed in a modern way. The place itself gives a feeling that its made out of glass.

Such a spectacular sight and the surroundings are beautiful. Really amazing! It saddens my heart how much money went into this when so many are going without. The bible talks about not being showy and staying simple, this is certainly not that . Although it is very beautiful I feel they could put the money to use elsewhere.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. The church is made of all glass with beautiful biblical statues throughout the grounds, to include Jesus walking on water. We said a prayer in both the church and the prayer spire, also all glass, which is a tall tower that contains a prayer chapel at the base of... More

During a recent visit to Orange, CA I decided to stop at the Crystal Cathedral. I found that the name has changed, and that it's currently owned by the Catholic Diocese. It is currently under going an extensive renovation, but you can peak in the windows and see what's left from when it was the Crystal Cathedral. There are drawings... More

Was able to tour the grounds around the cathedral. Interesting monuments to certain biblical stories (Job, Prodigal Son, etc). Interesting architecture.

Many things have changed since it's turned into CHRIST cathedral. They're renovating the big glass cathedral and services are done in the arbo. Not as busy as before. It's still a pretty place for friends from out of town to come take pictures.
