It's $2.00 per person to enter. You will need to purchase your tickets from the espresso gift shop, and they will give you an access code to get in. It was neat to see the inside, it was however too hot to stay in it...More

Pretty darn cool that they have preserved a piece of history that drove tourism in the early days of the the area. The Log House was driven all over the country to inspire people to come see the giant trees for themselves. These are the...More

I was expecting something kind of junky, but it really is an adorable little house built out of a log. It looks like an RV inside. It only costs a dollar to go in. We got a kick out of it.

We try to research and stop at Roadside America attractions. This one was not planned, and I'm so glad we stopped. The outside looks like a tree and the inside feels like an airstream. $1.00 gets you in the door.

I had never heard of this until we drove by. We stopped to visit the shops and went to the log house. It is a worthwhile stop on your way to the Avenue of the Giants.

We stopped here to stretch after a long drive. It only took 5-10 min to see it but it's neat for kids to see.

Really efficiently designed, worth the stop. Enjoyed the Native American shop next door, full of unexpected treasures.

If you are heading up to Crater Lake from Crescent City you may need to purchase some food and gasoline at this spot in the road, and you may find that it is a major traffic jam for such an out of the way place....More

Yes, the house is constructed from one hollow log from a redwood tree. Not too spectacular, IMHO. I wasn't even impressed enough from the outside to stop and visit.
