Four of us did the amazing wine and food pairing experience. All the food tasted terrific and matched perfectly with the wine. Sam was our server who is training to be a Sommelier one day. She was fantastic and definitely helped our experienced wine tasting group. This is not only a great food and wine pairing for foodies, but is one of the nicest experiences for the value that you can find anywhere in California. We have done many wine and food pairing experiences - this winery is in the top 1 percent. Go visit and experience it yourselves.

the wines here at Kendall, tasting ones we
can’t purchase at home. It was a little chilly out so we were seated inside. The room was nice but would have been so much nicer outside near the gardens. We used the Sonomas Passport for a 2/1 tasting here - definitely worth it.

There are a lot of wonderful estates to chose from when tasting in Sonoma. What I didn't like at first as the tasting was of other vineyards and other wines not necessarily of the actual estate, however surprise to me, I know have a new favorite chardonnay form Santa Barbara vineyard they own. Made me wish I had done some Chard tastings while in the S. Barbara area. So while it wasn't a small family estate winery or as lovely as the estate is in no way compared to the opulence and beauty of La Crema, I now have a new favorite wine and the cool thing about KJ, is is tasting cost is inexpensive comparatively and they have something very unique. They have an area in the vineyard, (which we found on our own-no one told us) that has a row for every type of grape, so you can go around and try them each very easily. That was a pretty awesome idea. It s a great addition to your tasting repertoire.

This is exactly the “estate winery” experience you think of when going to Wine Country. BEAUTIFUL gardens (absolutely must do!) and (6) pours for $35 (best bang for your buck that we did on this trip). They do side by side tastings of the same style of wine (which really helped me narrow down what I liked about the wine and it’s growing location), and they have a picturesque patio that just brings every sip to life. Even if the weather isn’t great, their main hall is majestic for tastings. Our host Erica was incredible and personable and really took into account what wines we did and didn’t care for. She also described everything perfectly and was such a joy to spent an hour with. Will absolutely be coming back next year!

We’re members of the wine club, even though we live in Arkansas, because KJ has great wine, incredible food, and one of the most beautiful wineries in Sonoma County. Visiting for a food and wine pairing on the patio is a real pleasure. This is a quality organization. The chefs are exceptional (we loved each course of the food this month), our host, Scott, was personable and knowledgeable, and we really enjoyed the wine pairings. The value is also there. In our opinion (and we try four or five F&W pairings at various places each trip, this is the best place to visit for wine and food in Sonoma or Napa counties. If we could just go to one, this is the obvious choice.

My wife and I just returned from a short visit to Old Town Santa Rosa, Healdsburg, and Safari West. On our last day before flying back to Orange County we were undecided as how to spend our last hours when my wife suggested a lunch & tasting at the Kendall Jackson Winery_
Best move we ever made, as it was a gorgeous day and the seating was on their outdoor patio looking out over the vineyards and garden. Our server and host was Mitch Norton who gave us a brief description & history for both the wine selections and also the luncheon faire that really made it most enjoyable & personable_
We mentioned in passing to Mitch that we were a little tired from all our adventures that we had had over our stay and he suggested a walk in the vegetable gardens and
a seat to rest in one of their adirondack chairs under the shade of a giant oak tree, as he sincerely added, "take your time, we won't chase you out"
It wasn't five minutes and my wife was sound asleep with dreams of our fantastic adventure and it's lasting memories I'm sure!

What an absolutely lovely afternoon. Six of us enjoyed the seated wine pairing luncheon on a beautiful blue sky fall day. EVERYthing, service, food and wine were outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Hats off to the team that makes it happen, in particular our host, Scott, and Matt who took us on a quick tour of the gardens, as well. This was our second visit to KJ and we'll be back every time we visit the area.

My brother and I visited here today, Thursday, as part of a food and wine lunch event that we purchased.
The complete staff at Kendall Jackson was awesome!
Mercedes’ was the wine expert and server that took care of us the duration of the event and she is AWESOME!!
Food and wine were expertly paired and the complete experience was five stars.
The winery, garden and vines were beautiful.
We highly recommend this place!!

We had the food and wine tasting experience. The staff(Scott) were knowledgeable and attentive. The 4 course meal we had was absolutely delicious and grown on the estate. Their gardens and walnut trees were beautiful. All the wine we tasted was delicious. We were in Napa for a week and visited several wineries and the Kendall Jackson wines were our favorites!! I highly recommend visiting this winery. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

We’re members of KJ’s wine club and always stop for the food and wine pairing when we’re in Sonoma County—which is a long way from Arkansas, where we live! We’re never disappointed. We’ll post photos of our food and the menu, which are great, but the show-stopper is the facility, including the beautiful flowers, gardens, and buildings. The outside seating area is gorgeous. This is a must visit!

We will be in Sonoma County on Nov 23 to 25th. Will the winery be open for a tour and wine tasting. Do we have to make an appointment?

If you want to do the food and wine pairings, you should have a reservation, but you wouldn't need one for wine tasting only. Be sure to walk around the gardens---the vegetables that the chef uses are organically grown there, and it is a pretty and interesting walk.
