We ventured up here from Mendocino (about a 30-35 minute drive) on the recommendation of a friend who had been here before. We were told that we could have some wine and stare out at the surf. We had a tasting of 6 wines for...More

My wife and I first visited the tasting room in fort Bragg, then made our way to the winery north of town on Saturday. The wines are fantastic, but the true majesty comes when you walk seaside. They have an enormous ench where ever spent...More

Very unique winery in a spectacular location. True they don't grow their own grapes but instead buy from a host of small growers producing quality product. It's my fault and Dads Red are very drinkable. Don't miss the walk out to Dads bench to take...More

The winery’s location is stunning atop rugged cliffs and crashing surf and quite unique for, as owner Marcus pointed out, the Pacific Star is the only winery located above the eponymous fault line (I bet the cleverly named “It’s my fault” is their best selling...More

Highly recommend! Fantastic views and Sally was very welcoming and friendly. I want to return for a few nights in their cabins located on the property. You won't be sorry if you spend a day out there!

I loved everything about this winery. Views are truly breathtaking, wine is great and even though Sally, the owner, stay very busy with all the guests, I really enjoyed chatting with her. I highly recommend a stop here if you're in the area.

An interesting location with great ocean views from the winery, but don't expect to taste great wine. None of the grapes are locally sourced, but are purchased from growers throughout CA, including the Livermore valley. Not unusual in todays wine industry, but the wines are...More

Very worthwhile. Sally is very knowledgeable about wines and produces a range that is based on locally sourced grapes. The wines are well priced and the location of the winery-perched on sea cliffs just north of Fort Bragg CA- will literally knock your socks off....More

Thanks for asking. The property by the ocean bluffs is fenced with signage indicating the dangers. All children need to be closely supervised. In the cellar children can be disruptive to other tasters who come here for... More

We have a large field where pets are welcome to romp and play. The grounds near the ocean bluffs and the cellar are off limits to pets.
