It brings together historical, educational and technological resources to create programs which preserve our aviation heritage in building an air and space museum for all ages that embraces California aviation, Travis Air Force Base, the U. S. Air Force and the history of the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders.

My father was stationed here in the 60's and we got to come and see the planes he flew in and worked on. Great well maintained museum with very friendly staff.

This is also called the Jimmy Doolittle Air & Space Museum. You cannot drive onto the base, but if you stop at the visitors' center and get a pass -- which includes a background check -- a shuttle will take you to the Heritage Center....More

There are a number of mostly transport aircraft, and a B-52, some trainers, and few fighter spanning from WW II to present parked outside and displays of memorabilia inside including large jet engines.

Great commissary and BX as well as liquor store also get my regular pet visit and preventive Medes there I have also been followed there in Family Practice Medicine best service ever do MRI and mammograms there too

This was great. There are lots of airplanes and information available about the history of them. Enjoyed as an attraction while staying on base.

It was great. The boys, ages 16 and 42, could have spent the entire day here. There is so much to see. It was great seeing their faces light up with each new find.
