Wonderful Park

Rockville is a delightful park with amazing displays of wildflowers particularly in the spring. The hiking trails are varied and Rockville Lake is a great spot for a picnic.

The park was good for a stroll, not sure why it costs so much to get in though. Not from the area and so we parked at the north east parking location- limited parking spots. No one stopped us inside to check receipt. Not as steep as lagoon valley park.

Hike here all the time. Spring is the best with all the wild flowers in bloom. There is a small lake with ducks and geese. Dogs welcome but on a leash. Can mountain bike here, but some trails are not for beginners as they are single track.

Wonderful local park for hiking and mountain biking. The local ranger and large group of volunteers take great pride in managing this space. The ranger is a wealth of information and willing to share her expertise.

Located just outside Fairfield and Green Valley, this regional park takes you back into the wild country. With many easy, moderate and a few difficult trails, you quickly lose civilization behind and see the authentic hill country of the East Bay. Abundant wildlife exist with deer, rabbit, bobcat, and usual assortment of snakes, mice and prairie dogs. Some weekends it... More

Set just outside Fairfield city limits, this regional park is a tranquil hike up to what is currently below water level lakes as well as a favored location for a challenging mountain bike trail. Very relaxing to come and enjoy the quiet solitude for a hike or picnic or a challenging downhill mountain bike ride

We live very local and never tire of our hikes here. It's also very popular with mountain bikers, with some great trails! Two small lakes and some of the most beautiful views around!

This is a much larger park than appears from the entrance. A network of trails throughout the park, some more for hiking, some more for biking. Bring water and good shoes, the terrain was more rugged that a smooth trail. Nice ranger we met at the gate.

This is a super place to take a peaceful walk or energetic off road bike ride for several hours. Take a lunch as there are many places to stop with views of the lakes, hills or valley. Great place for kids and dogs. Cheers!
