Every year I try to check out the garden, at least once. It looks like a bit scraggly, as most gardens do, in the winter, but it gets really gorgeous in the late summer. The wishing well is so vintage-love it. The benches that have been donated in memory of local Eureka inhabitants, is wistful, melancholy and hopeful all at the same time. I do wish the plants and flowers were labeled more thoroughly but it’s still lovely to be hold.

I can’t believe this redwood park is within the city of Eureka! If you don’t want to drive 50 minutes north or south of Eureka to see the redwoods, you can just come here. It’s an amazing park with tons of trails. It was a creek with a small waterfall, a small pond, and an old abandoned home where only the large fireplace and foundation exists. My 4 and 6 year old enjoyed it too!

Went by here on a beautiful Saturday in Eureka. The gardens are very nice. The variety of flowers is pretty amazing and with their climate in mid August there was a great variety of gorgeous flowers. You'll take a lot of pictures when you visit here. Nice place to go!

Easily accessible to walk, hike, drive, or picnic. Just a few hundred feet into Sequoia Park, you'll feel like you're deep within a spectacular primeval forest. Close nearby is a park, zoo, and other attractions.
