We went to just see the butterfly exhibit but were surprised how much more there was to this exhibit. It is an excellent place for kids (and adults) to learn about water conservation here in Southern California.

Wanted a small non-touristy vibe place so we chose to spend some time here. Donated our entrance fee and stayed an hour and a half. Small little shop with trinkets inside and even plants for sale outside. Nice visit.

A desert-like setting, with moderate hills, a water feature, and a butterfly exhibit make the WCG a good half-day destination to get away from it all. A full year-round calendar of social and educational events, plus plant sales, provide plenty of reasons to go there.
