This is the 10th time I have played Desert Dunes. Conditions are consistent through out the season. Check for deals as pricing varies. Speed of play is good and the fairways give the not so accurate golfer room to play.

This course is off the beaten track located in Desert Hot Springs, north of I-10. The wind can blow up here, go in the morning and you should be okay. The course is a Pete Dye design and surprisingly well maintained. Interesting holes with some...More

The Desert Dunes course is long challenging and cheap. Decently maintained. The problem is the wind. DHS is a windy patch of desert serving as a turnaround point for a much of the air that comes rushing through the Morongo pass. If you can golf...More

This is an average course. It not very challenging, but it's in pretty good shape. There are windmills all around the area, and now I know why... It was SO windy, it was hard to enjoy the day. I would suggest you keep that on...More

Played at Desert Dunes on Friday February 10/17 with some friends. Drove over from PHX to celebrate a birthday. This course has seen better days but the layout is great. The tee boxes and fairways were just alright and the greens were also good and...More

Beautiful course, links style, unfortunately was VERY windy when we played but enjoyed the challenge. Surprised this course didn't have better amenities - not great quality practice area or carts, the pro shop was minimal. We enjoyed it but would spend our greens fees elsewhere...More

This is one of the few reasonable golf courses in the Valley, and there are reasons for that. 1. There are few amenities at the Site, restrooms, pro shop and carts are below expectations for this part of the Country but not poor. 2. The...More
