About
Step into the heart of the Apple empire at this sleek and modern building—the only part of the Apple Park campus that’s open to the public. Here, you can tour the innovative exhibition space for a behind-the-scenes look at Apple’s journey, technology, and design principles, head up to the roof terrace for an expansive view of Apple Park, and rub shoulders with other creatives at the cafe. Of course, the highlight of the center is the massive Apple Store where you can browse their full range of products and snag exclusive merchandise. You can check out the center and other tech giants on a tour of Silicon Valley. – Tripadvisor

Underwhelming. You visit a nice modern building and you can see Apple Park from a distance if you go up to the top floor. There's scale a contour model of Apple Park that you can see in detail with an iPad and app (provided) but it is no more exciting than looking via Google Maps. Otherwise, the place is filled with Apple products and advertisements for them, and an overpriced cafe. Staff were friendly and helpful, though.

Today it was the turn of the Apple Park Visitor Center, in the hope that we would be able to get a good view of the main headquarters (the main building, this ring). Since it was already 5 p.m., we had to hurry a bit, as they close at 6 p.m.
The campus is very classy and modern. The customer center is outside the fenced-in circular main building. Olive tree avenues, rosemary hedges and the benches look like iPhones laid flat. Everything (benches, railings) has a cool, cool, soft feel (as do the iPhones).
In the spacious visitor center, everything that Apple has made is set up.
The highlight, however, was a virtual tour of the facility. Unfortunately, however, without a real look inside the buildings.
The facility is recreated in three dimensions on a large table. Everyone is given a tablet and then, based on their position (i.e. where you are standing with the tablet in front of the replica), you are shown virtually what these buildings look like from the inside. For example, you can lift the roof of the house on the tablet or zoom in (floor plans are shown, not real images). You can see the wind flow, the ventilation through the natural wind, times of day from sunrise to sunset or how the solar technology works.
There is a roof terrace in the visitor center. But unfortunately you can only look over at the main building from there. You only ever see parts of the ring, the rest is too far away, hidden by trees, fenced in and guarded.

It was nice to play with the Augmented reality scale of the complex. Sadly that is about as close as you can get to the building. The ample staff were always ready with helpful and informative facts about the facility. The gift shop is small, but has a few exclusives like t-shirts and memory games. Again sales staff very eager to assist in any way. Learning sessions were offered on many topics. While we were there, photo editing was being taught. The merchandise was very expensive - 40$ for a short sleeve T-shirt. Disappointing. At least parking was on site and free.

As an Apple fan I was totally let down on visiting the Apple Visitor Center. Maybe I was setting my aim too high. Arrived on a Sunday with a long line to park, eventually got to park in underground car park. On reaching ground level another queue… once in the center it’s just a typical Apple Store with a cafe and upstairs a seating area. Yes it’s great to see a tiny view of the Apple Park HQ, but it was a big disappointment- I was expecting to see a history of Apple products (museum) something about Steve Jobs/Tim Cook, but nothing. I asked one of the Apple team if there was more to the visitor center as I was sure I was missing something but he said no this was it. The Apple Store/ “Visitor Center” does sell a few T shirts and baby grows that are not available in the shops but that’s it.
Disappointed Apple… C- for effort could try harder

Do not waste your time. Horrible experience. Barely any Apple merchandise different than your local Apple Store. Overpriced Kids tshirts on one side, and adult tshirts on the other side. 4-5 designs, pretty bad. Some mugs which were okay. And that’s it!!!
Do not waste your time in making the trip. Apple should be ashamed of putting something like this anywhere.

This is a great place to visit if you are a fan of Apple products and Apple design. A huge amount of thought has gone into making this a very high quality experience and attention to detail is impressive. We didn’t know what to expect and ended up staying an hour an a half. However there was a sense that this could have been much more than a display of current products - there is a rich history of innovation that could have been on display and it would have been great to see something about Steve Jobs - given this was designed and built with no limits on what it could have been it’s a shame there were no references to the great history and heritage of Apple.

Go check it out! Being in Silicon Valley, allow yourself to live the full experience! It's an Apple store, but it's an Apple store, next to Apple, in Cupertino! You can see what Apple is like from the inside through an interactive experience, you can see how launches work, and even participate in workshops (there was a photography workshop when we were there). The environment is very cool, all the lines, shapes and the entire environment remind you of the care they take with the development of their products.

Pretty nice and large Apple store and observation deck. The virtual tour was really cool and a fun experience. The cafe was a nice touch and there's plenty of areas for photos, just use some imagination. The parking was fine, people need to follow the guides or cones that lead to the below-ground parking area where there's NO parking time limit. Elevators are convenient and to top it all off, the view of the Infinite Loop across the street is cool. Overall, a fun and quick guest experience but don't expect to be there for hours either.

During my recent trip from San Franscisco to LA I stopped by the visitor center at Apple. The building is lovely but really is just a large Apple Store with a small -but technically great- interactive tour of the campus.
There was a roof terrace where you can see about 100m of the Ring Building roof buit otherwise there is no access to see the actual Apple campus.
I wouldnt go out of my way to come here as there isnt anything you wouldnt get in a regular Apple Store.

This is just a bigger Apple Store with a pre-packaged food cafe. It sells some fairly uninspired Apple swag (mugs, teeshirts, water bottles, diaries) that you cannot buy anywhere else, but it is no destination for a Visitor, IMO. They said we could to see the rooftop view of the ring building, but you get a better view of that from the upper floors of the nearby Kaiser hospital.
