I have been on many food tours all over the nation. This is the first food tour that i have been extremely disappointed in, for numerous reasons. I am a vegetarian, and in the comments at booking, it asks for any dietary restrictions. I assumed they would accommodate them. No, I was told, just to pick around the meat. Other... More

So much interesting history, even if you are from the area. Barb (also the Owner) was wonderful, extremely informative & very quickly felt like a close friend to us all. Our group had the most fun! We enjoyed the diverse and delicious culinary stops along the way. A great way to take a little vacation without all the expense. We... More

We had a lot of fun on this 3 hour walking & eating tour. Lori was fun, friendly & full of history. We ate @ 2 restaurants, tasted olive oils & wine vinegar; also tasted ICE CREAM with Liquor & Wine Vinegar, saw historic houses, brief visit @ museum & finishes with wine tasting! Great fun was had by all... More

The tour runs for almost three hours as it proceeds along the main thoroughfares of Coronado Island outside San Diego. The numerous stops allow you to enjoy sizable samplings of the best restaurants, and unique tasting experiences of desserts, a variety of olive oils and vinegar. The tour guides are not only proficient in food description and analysis, they also... More

Get a little of Coronado's history sample some local food and have a great time. We went restaurant hoping and had appetizers at six different places. Walking a few blocks while in Coronado and eating lightly was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.

Walking was an intimate way to enjoy each venue. Our guide was friendly, caring and very knowledgable. Food and camaraderie made this a memorable experience. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Barbara made the entire tour entertaining and delicious all at the same time! I loved the fact that she actually sat down with and ate with us while we sampled at each place. Most food tours don't do that, and so you're left with a hovering tour guide and it makes the entire tour time awkward. I would much rather... More

We took a food tour from Barb on a warm Sunday afternoon in mid-May and had a fabulous time! Her vast historical knowledge of Coronado and John D. Spreckels (sugar magnate & Coronado benefactor) was shared with a great sense of humor, making the tour fun and entertaining. We stopped at several local restaurants and food shops and were given... I recently went on this tour and had a great time! Coronado is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon, and on this tour I learned that there is much more to it than its beauty. There is wonderful history, parks & homes with stories, and mystery. Our guide, Barb, was amazing! It was evident from the get-go that she... More
