We decided to play this course for two reasons: 1) highly recommended by the valet staff at the downtown San Diego Renaissance hotel; & 2) great deal on the GolfNow app. The Pro Shop and restaurant were decent. We had a nice breakfast and lunch, and the staff were all friendly. We played a fun round with a couple from... More

Good value, a view of the water, and reasonable price for the golf course. Note that the carts need to be returned before the sun sets. The course staff will find you and make sure you are on your way to the club house before sundown. Easy to walk if you don't need a cart.

This is a very nice course for the full range of golfers. We were three including a 30+ handicap. Pretty views of the bay and the hotel Del. Lots of different holes and easy to walk. Greens fees were $45 with cart on a Sunday. For the amount of play it gets, the course is in very good shape. Expect... More

I have played here 3 times. I used to try to get onto Torrey Pines by arriving at 4 am and waiting to play. After playing Torrey Pines... although wonderful, now when I visit for business, I play Corondado Municipal. It has better views and is more enjoyable for not only the average golfer, but for a 9 handicap like... More

Beautiful views and above average. Some turf management efforts could be improved. Midweek wasn't too busy, good pace of play. Overall it's a nice course.

The greens were pretty spongy and some of the holes weren't just back and forth, but for such a tight location, it is a fun course with great views! Restaurant was tasty and rates were average.

Restaurant part of the golf course which is off the beaten tourist track of Orange Ave or by the fairy. We ate breakfast here twice. We ordered the traditional breakfast of eggs, toast, bacon which comes with fruit. Portions ample. The first time the food was good but served tepid. Tepid eggs are not so tasty. The second time all... More

This was the best round of golf I played in San Diego and I played 6 rounds in 8 days. The drive over the Coronado bridge is fantastic. The island is a must see and the golf course is great. Its a flat course but challenging and I got right out as a visitor walk on at 6AM. The views... More

Had lunch -breakfast in the clubhouse. Food is good, but service is slow. Go if you have time and for the view.

Coronado is a pleasant golf course that is fine for low and high handicap golfers. The course is tree lined with some holes along the ocean. It's not tricky, any challenges are right in front of you. There are always boats in the water from small sail boats to large cigar boats. You might even see the Navy training in... More
