    Beautiful Gardens
These gardens are beautiful. As we walked around enjoying everything, numerous friendly workers/volunteers greeted us, answered questions and told us interesting information. The gardens were immaculate. The gift shop had a wide selection of interesting items. We really wanted to eat at the cafe, but it was not open the day we were there.

    Beautiful grounds!
Beautiful gardens, not a huge place but enough separate areas to take an hour or so and a steal for only $5pp. There is also a cafe onsite that was packed on the day we went. Looked good from what we could see. Would recommend if passing through the area.

Beautiful Spot to Visit with Family
Sherman Library and Gardens is a quaint little spot in Corona del Mar. The gardens are beautiful. We were able to use our Botanical Garden membership on a reciprocal benefit to visit. It is a definitely worth the stop for a quick visit.

    Lovely garden and lunch
This is a spectacular garden, despite the fact that it is relatively small. Each area is distinct and well-planned to give the viewer a variety of sights to see. We ate at the cafe and the food was delicious with many of the ingredients harvested from their edible garden. It was so relaxing to have a lovely meal in such beautiful environs. I highly recommend it.

We visited in June 2021 for a family wedding (I was a bridesmaid for my brother) with young children and we had a fantastic time! The venue is beautiful and perfect for photos. The sound system needs some work for the ceremony + microphone for the officiate. Staff were very pleasant to work with. After the gardens closed to the public, my three young kids enjoyed running through the gardens, never being reprimanded by anyone. During the reception, we felt very welcome by all, especially the bartender. What a great experience and I hope this review helps!

This is a beautiful little gem that consistently pleases! I've visited over the years and it continually improves with regards to programs and guest artists. Their events/classes are varied and offer something for everyone. Props to their staff and board, it's very evident that a lot of love, talent, and expertise go into the operation of this garden If you're in Orange County, don't miss the opportunity to carve out a bit of time to visit!

This is a small wonderful oasis of Nature right in the heart of the city, with a very affordable entrance fee. The tropical greenhouse and natuve plants are are impressive as are the very knowledagble docents. We also enjoyed the exhibits about the former owners of this property and how they helped develop the local artists scene.

A friend told us about this garden and we absolutely loved it. Small, compact with a well designed display of California plants. Easy to navigate with volunteer docents who are knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful. It is not to be missed.

This is a beautiful place that is fairly handicapped accessible. The volunteer at the entrance was kind and took our photo. The flowers are exquisite, and the path was pretty good for a wheelchair (although I was using it like a walker while we were there). The only reason I am not rating it excellent, is that the person at the front gate would not allow us into the gift shop. The entrance at the back had steps, and I needed to use an accessible one - by the entrance. The person said they were closing in 10 minutes and would not let us in the gift shop. I understand wanting to go home on time, and we would have watched our time. However, being denied access was upsetting. I hope they work on this. I wanted to buy the cookbook written by their volunteers, but it was not meant to be.

We we taking a drive in Corona Del Mar and we parked next to this Library. Out of curiosity we walked to the front to go in and saw some beautiful plants. I was hooked I wanted to see more . so we paid the 5 dollars they wanted as a donation. It was really worth it, like a museum of plants. So nicely cared for and nicely displayed. They even have some carnivorous plants inside.

It’s a pretty small garden. If you walk slow you can see everything in 30-40 minutes. We enjoyed waking through. It still had the Christmas decorations up and my wife loved the swing. It’s only $5 each and us worth a stop.

We visited Sherman Gardens yesterday to take friends visiting from out of town and celebrate a birthday . Firstly we toured the gardens that were gorgeous and loved all the interesting photo spots . lunch at Cultivar was exceptional , all 5 of us had different dishes and every one looked and tasted delicious . Chef Jessica came out and chatted to us and was an absolute delight Can’t wait to go back and sample another of her beautiful creations !
