Mid-Westerner's first time CA shooting

I've been shooting sporting clays for many years in the Midwest and jumped at the chance to shoot at Mike's place. Overall it was a great experience. First, it was HOT. 100... read more

We try to go once a month to practice shooting and always is a great treat. The employees are always helpful anytime we need help.

Disclosure: I have shot Sporting Clays throughout the Continental U.S. Yet, I have never seen a place so dirty, disorderly, confusing and confused, chaotic and unprofessional. It's a real mess, topped by rude and inefficient office personnel. Equipment is obviously ancient, therefore many traps do not work. Some control boxes just stand there, with cables handing out of them and... More

Went shooting and rented a gun similar to the one I just bought (while in waiting period) The volunteers at "the gallery" were totally awesome. They took their time, showed me how to handle, load, etc. the gun. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back now that I have my gun.

I've been shooting sporting clays for many years in the Midwest and jumped at the chance to shoot at Mike's place. Overall it was a great experience. First, it was HOT. 100 degrees of dry heat in October was really unexpected but, surprisingly, it was very bearable due to no humidity. The course feels very much like the desert setting... More

We took our family there, we have adult kids. The employees were extremely rude and overly agressive. A very rude woman employee accused our daughters of misconduct towards some little boys. Our daughter's work with children and would not conduct themselves in any negative way around children. The woman employee was extremely aggressive, rude, dismissive, would not let anyone say... We found this while driving around LA. The signs are good and the range is great. There is a good deal where you pay $99 for an instructor, range fee, shotgun, saftey glasses and earplugs. We had lots of fun and the instructor taught well.

took my 2 nephews for the 1st time shooting and they had a great instructor and a more fantastic time. The different shooting stations made the experience even more fun! Will definitely return with the expectations of having lots more fun.

Show up 20 minutes before opening and you can reserve your own section of the range. Great for private shooting and not worrying about the guy next to you. Skeet range is a blast with multiple style traps to shoot. Price is not bad and its easy to get to.

My adult son and I went to Raahauge's over the weekend. He has some BIG guns (a FAL 308 and an AK 47). We got one of the 45 yard (outdoor of course) ranges all to ourselves. You have to bring your own target stands but other than that you can do essentially anything (safe) you want. The price has... More

Went here last month as part of a shotgun instruction course. This was my first time firing a shotgun and was a bit off kilter when I found out that we would be shooting sporting clays. Needless to say, I instantly became a fan. The course/stations for sporting clays is well laid out. The clays are launched by pressing an... More
