Would like to commend Lynn on her excellent service. Not only does she work the bar but delivers food from kitchen, cleans tables inside and out. She also keeps everywhere as clean as possible. Also recently has helped get owners bar up and running again....More

We picked a dull day with some glints of sun coming through. Beach is loads of rocks with some patches of sand in between. So calm just right for fishing. We took the dogs for a little walk and found a couple of smooth pebbles....More

This part of the coast is just shingle (some sand) You wouldn’t describe it as pretty or interesting in any way. It faces 3 caravan parks and has no facilities.

Not the best of beaches. Very stoney and struggled to push a stroller through it. There’s better beaches around Clacton for families but it is aesthetically pleasing and would be good if you were taking children rock-pooling.

Came and spent the day at the beach, its very clean and appears safe for young kids. The only thing I would say is that there were a few dead jellyfish in the water, so be aware and careful. There is a small funfair near...More

Very stonie and only sand when the tide went out, we went in July and there were lots of jelly fish. The beach was in need of tieding and quite a lot of weeds were there.

Great fun, fun people and reasonable prices. Music outside in the sun, on the beach and great fresh fish. Good for families also. Dogs welcome.

I can recommend Sailor Boy restaurant for Sunday lunch (in the pub, not the cafe) at the end of Beach Road. There is also a fantastic fish & chips next door. Both are excellent and reasonably priced. If you follow Seaview Rd... More
