We decided to go to the Ultramax theatre in Cathedral City @ 12:15 because the prices was great and you get free popcorn/soda refill for only $6.00. We saw Jurassic World great on the big screen.

The IMAX format was scrubbed at this theatre no longer shows movies in the IMAX format. The large screen is still present and most movies shown here are in the digital format. Still a good place to see flicks on a large screen!

Didnt care for this theater. Poorly managed and disorganized. We didnt care for the seating. We had some trouble with the quality of the screen and everything seemed a bit out of focus..

This was a favorite theatre, especially when young people visited me. They just couldn't wait to see the latest movies at IMAX and in 3D! It is no longer called IMAX and to be truthful, I have not been since it changed.

The theater still shows movies but it's marquee warns that it is "Not Shown in IMAX." However, it does boast that it is in a "large screen format." That's too bad, because it once was a great IMAX theater with prices that were affordable.

We watched Hobbit2 (2 hours 40 minutes) with great 3-D picture and sound, but theater seating was much worse than our experience in other IMAX theaters.

We just saw "Gravity" in 3D....it was outstanding! The huge screen, excellent sound system and 3D glasses had me ducking meteors and space debris all night! Lots of parking near the theatre also adds to its appeal! Fun night out :-)

We came to see Gravity in this Imax and were not the slightest disappointed. The screen is enormous and made us feel as though we were not just watching the movie, but a part of it. The sound is good and the seats are comfortable.
