Great beach for shell collecting, kids had a great time. Water is fairly calm, multiple lifeguard stations and plenty of parking. Only downside is as with all beaches in this area, expect to be cleaning tar off your feet and ankles at the end of...More

Great family beach to relax, and swim. Usually small waves, but always lots of people out with boogie boards. Advertised as the safest beach in the US. Great beach town

This is a nice beach to come camping. The downtown strip leaves much to be desired. Compared to other California beaches, this one is low key and more relaxed.

Beautiful beach. Beautiful town. Great hamburgers just down the street. Charming train passing by. Doesn't get much better than this!

Beach is beautiful and it's a cute town. Great restaurants and laid back. We went down to check out the beach. It's beautiful and was PACKED! It's also Saturday and hot.

We had a fabulous day at Carp Beach with friends. We plan to go back all summer and camp in a few weeks. The weather was perfect and the water was warm. Just keep an eye out for sharks!

There are no hotels on the beach-just condo rentals. I don't know which spa you are talking about. Sorry.
