Take a friend, your camera and stay for awhile. Nice, open paths all the way to the American River. Well worth more than one visit. It changes with the seasons.

Trails to follow, friendly staff, lots of areas to hang out and picnic, plus indoor exhibits and a model Native American village are all very neat.
