I play this course whenever I can. Fairly flat and walkable. Lots of trees, and the greens are always in good condition, as is the course. Very well taken care of.

Love this place though it seems to be falling into disrepair - It could use some more attention- and the price is high for the care of the grounds-

Very nice golf course. Great location for viewing wild life, too. Grass driving range. Kind of hard, not good for beginners

Ancil Hoffman is in good shape, the greens roll like a private course and yet I played today for $26.00 (walking). It's not perfect, they could use some new sand in the bunkers and there was a lot of ground under repair but it is...More

Ancil Hoffman is jewel and is ideally located along the American River parkway. It offers very competitive slopes with length and lots of strategic trees to contend with. It's beautiful and usually very well maintained. Wait for the surprise on the tee at 16.

This gold course is near my home in Carmichael. It is an excellent course and fun to play although I haven't played there for years.

Old school means tough with a lot of tree trouble and well placed hazards. It's relatively flat but get in the trees and you're dead cause you have to make it back out for some long approach. For a couple years it went into some...More

A cool day with blue skies and very few people on the course. This is a peaceful place as there is no traffic around it. The trees have matured nicely and the course is well maintained.
