Unlike some other reviewers -- I feel like this scenic drive was totally worth the $10 entrance fee. You get a map at the entrance booth, detailing all the major stops along the way. Everything on the drive is well marked and easy to follow....More

For the small charge it's well worth it. Stunning views of coastline and golf courses. Felt safe at all times

Its a really nice drive, the begining is the worst part, but after you reach the coastline it becomes amazing!! If you have the chance, do it without doubts

The seventeen mile drive is really very beautiful (the brochure says it is one of most beautiful scenic roads in the world, and I found it a bit of an exaggeration but definitely worth it). Stop in as many places as you can, watch the...More

This was worth the price! What a nice, beautiful drive. We really enjoyed walking on the beaches too! We saw many dolphins in the water.

It depends on traffic, and how often you stop to take in the scenery or take photographs. It's 17 miles at 25 MPH.

Yes. There is an entrance in Carmel. When you exit on the northern side it links up to the main road going along the coast past Pacific Grove and on to Monterey.
