Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went to the Harrison Memorial Library in downtown Carmel. Its in a historic building. The library is used by the locals.

The widow of Supreme Court Justice Ralph Chandler Harrison funded the construction of this 1928 gem, designed by a renowned architect. Inside, a fireplace warms the area while someone with a laptop sets up her work station. Other places in the library, people use the library-provided computers for their own use.
This library serves the community. A homework center, pre-school story time, and evening lectures on a variety of subjects define the library's importance to this small little commuity of Carmel by the Sea. Private gifts keep the library afloat and fund the purchase of books, computers, etc.
Nearby is the First Murphy House and First Murphy Park (1900 era treasures). The library is on the walk down to the beach and merits a stop-by to check it out..
