The Lagoon trail is a safe and clean walking area, often see others enjoying the trail as well. We walked from one end to the other. It wasn't terribly taxing, mostly flat land but beautiful view of the lagoon, wildlife on a sunny day.
Easy walking path, interesting flora, lots of birds. Within sight and sound of I-5, it an oasis nonetheless.
Very nice, friendly staff at the visitors center. They have activities for kids and the path is relatively flat with lots of wildlife to see.

My wife and I go there quite often. The trail is next to the lagoon and is very beautiful. The nature center is very fun for kids to learn about all the animals that live there. Well worth a trip.
My husband & I walk around the lagoon pretty frequently- it's BEAUTIFUL and it's right in our neighborhood. There are never too many people and we get to see beautiful nature- a lot of different birds and quite a few dogs!
Terrific place for a jog or walk on the trail from start to finish. Great bird watching for hawks, ducks, etc. Nice and pleasant place to walk and run and spend time in Nature but close to everything. Great views of the lagoon.
