I went to private school in Carlsbad 5 years ago. Carlsbad was kinda a dumpy little North county beach town. Now it's become quaint little beach town with lots to do. Walking distance to just about everything. Full range of restaurants from Pizza and Mexican food to high end dinning. Walk down the streets or down to the beach. Great... More

Carlsbad Village has a huge & fabulous Street Faire first Sunday in May. Parking is minimal but they offer free shuttle service from Coaster parking lot every 15 minutes. Downtown has a lot of great shops and restaurants. I love going to Carlsbad. It's one of my favorite places to go.

We spent a few hours walking one afternoon. The village is spread out with lots of stores, restaurants and is right next to the beach. We checked out some stores to include Mermaids, the Chocolate Bar, a toy store, Senor Grubbys and a few others. It was a fun relaxing way to check out the town and take some photos.

Enjoyed the Village in Carlsbad, great selection of restaurants, shops and hotels. Check for specials! One night we ate at a bar ( Irish Name) and they had two for one hamburgers on Tuesday. Dinti's good bar and restaurant, happy hour prices and watch the sunset from the porch. Local owned and operated.Amtrak and Coaster run through the town with... More

Visited the Village Faire which I understand is the largest of its kind in the area. Loved that shuttles were available and enjoyed the whole experience.

Clean, quiet, welcoming "town center" with many shops and restaurants. Decent parking and easily walkable and bike-able. Bicycle lockup all around. Easy access to I-5, PCH, and the actual beach itself. Caters to the numerous beach rental houses and hotels. One downside is that despite being "by the sea", there are only a small number of restaurants with an ocean... More

We visited legoland and had some extra time to see the city. We found out the market happened to be going on. Parking was easy and we walked around. There were many varieties of products such as produce, artisan breads, honey, etc. I liked how the vendors were generously giving samples. We tried and love the cheesecake in a cup... More
