Great little boutique shops, super restaurants and friendly atmosphere! Every Wednesday a fun Farmer's Market from 3-7pm on 2907 State Street! Something for everyone! After a fun time eating and shopping, it is a short walk to the beach!

Great food, live music, small bars, and shopping. It's so inviting and very easy to get around. We walk down to State Street and back up to the beach. All the little streets tucked in between have something neat on them, you just have to walk around and look. Used books store, surf board rentals, bikes rentals and a lovely... More

We really enjoyed all of the shops, restaurants and bars in the area. We ventured out and found a couple wine tasting shops as well, really enjoyed the day.

If you want a good get away and know how busy San Diego gets then come here. Love this cute little town. Everything is walking distance even the grocery store but just for a few things. Drive if your going to get food for the week. Nice walk if you forget something. Shop's are fun just to window shop. Weather... More

Near the beach, so after you dry off, you can go get a coffee, some snack, or shop the all SOCK store. There is a hidden little bunch of shops behind the famous coffee place on the corner. It is like a little hidden mall. I am sure that there are other ways to approach this place, but it does... More

There are so many great shops and restaurants in this little area. It's about 3-4 streets worth that are very walkable and tourist friendly. We enjoyed eating down here and buying from some of the local stores.

This place seemed like a tourist trap to me. Nothing special. Small shops and restaurants. We had dessert at one of the stores, order at counter and sit at small table. I wouldn't go back.

Carlsbad is quaint, quiet and clean but doesn't offer much excitement. The farmer's market on Wednesdays is okay and adds a little color but compared to the oceanside market it's kind of lame. If you're looking for a nice family oriented beach to hang out at or for walks or a change of scenery than carlsbad village is the place... More

Seapointe Resort personnel go out of their way to make you feel like you are special. They always smile and say something positive to you. They do spoil you.
